Heaven in Crayon is a sweet story about Michael, a person with special needs, who impacts a young student writing a paper.

In order to accurately portray the environment, we needed to have real special needs people involved. That’s where our friends at Brightstone really helped us out- allowing us access to their facilities for the day. The students at Brightstone were also excited to be a part of the movie-making process.  Our friend Michael did an excellent job, even improving a few lines and kissing my hand (watch for my first cameo as I show off my acting skills).

The script had called for the student character to actually be a nurse, but I felt being a piece for 14-18 year olds, they needed to see someone near their age.
