Can Do Cameron
This is one of the most fun and yet challenging series we do. It’s a children’s spy adventure (probably more inspired by the TV show Alias than Spy Kids). It follows the adventures of Can Do Cameron, as he takes on the evil of Ruthless Rufus and his side kick Grimey.
Being a technology drive spy show, it demands a level of gadgets and special effects that keeps us on our toes and constantly expanding what is possible to do on a limited budget. From transforming his back pack to a jet pack, crashing his F19 fighter jet into the park or shutting down a giant laser on a moon base space station, Can Do Cameron is always on the move.
Getting to work constantly with Grayson Stone (Can Do Cameron) and John MacArthur (Ruthless Rufus) and seeing what new situations we can put them in to is always a treat. Grayson played the role of young Will Bloom with Director Tim Burton and Ewan Mcgregor in the Film “Big Fish”and John has been in multiple S7P productions playing always the villain (sorry John you’re just so good at bad!)
http://www.seventhstory.com/SecretHQ/S7P/media/CanDoSpace.flvI continue to wonder where can I take Can Do next and this time the answer was Space. This project also we gave a bump in quality to Can Do with a lot of work by Richard Peterson in the FX/3D Modeling Department.
http://www.vimeo.com/7706554We wanted to introduce a new villain and the Slinker seemed to give us new options. Someone even other villains were scared by. Like if Batman had been bad.
http://www.vimeo.com/9746673So successful was the Slinker that we brought him back. I highlight this to show off the exterior shots. Getting Snow and the Dolly move past the gate were some of my favorites.
