Breaking Ten was an early dramatic short that really had an inspired concept. I won’t give it away here, but I really liked the mystery surrounding the random things the guys are doing-(idol worship?) and trying to figure out what was going on with them.

We shot ‘Breaking Ten’ in an existing police training facility. I’ve gone back to this location for other movies, because of how cool it looks on screen. The holding cell and the room with the bricks remain two of my favorite places to shoot. The soldiers in this short film are the real deal. I was really happy with the actors and the little moments that take place during the film. Jon MacArthur (again, the bad guy) looks like he’s about to tear into our lead, Colin Benward.  Looking back with several years more experience I would change a few moments or beats in the revelation at the end. However still, a piece I’m very proud of.
